So today wasn't the best week this year, (wait I take that back) it wasn't my best professional week this year so far! lol nothing really bad bad. but work has just been a rollarcoaster of blahhhh. I was supposed to take my final test and certify yesterday and today we missed two chances to certify and bc of crap, miscommunication, and just bad luck. I guess its ok were taking our time but me and jorge dont even feel welcomed anymore, our supervisor is giving us vibes that she wants us gone! and I dont really care per say I just care about my hours and how it'll affect school!
and thats another subject! Im getting at that point again where I want to finish school already, and I keep getting "stay in school" "youll miss it when your finally in the working world" I've been in the working world.. I work to buy the shit that I want and pay for the things I need. I just want to graduate, work in my career that I love, and hope that the other things that I want in life follow. <3 ( they have to happen, and I'm sure I'll find it)
Tommorrow is D-day ( forth time is a charm??)

Why is my weekend shorter?!
It really does seem that my weekend is shorter :( When i first started at the airport my 3 day weekend was loooooongg as hell! It seemed like a miracle job! Then again I was not in school, I basically slept all the time. However! Now that my days are more filled now with school, friends and new friends (: I guess it aint so bad.
It does suck getting up at 2:30 but I guess I can't complain, My day's are longer because I get up early. Sometimes Im just lucky but like really lucky lol like I dont know how I managed to do the things I do (or did) and still I guess pass, or sane!or not found out. ( but thats another topic)
I haven't written in a while..and I felt like writing but I guess I was also waiting for St. Valentines day to pass. My vday didnt suck (til I saw every guy one the train and school with flowers!, or girls upon girls taking pics of all their junk and flowers and bears and cakes! or the ones who are extra ANTI-valentines doing the single girl movement (stuppiddd in my view) I just couldnt really care, I still love the day and what it stands for. But this year it was just another Monday for me. (filled with John Cusack, Hugh Laurie, a two hour nap, an imaginary gift trade with me and Ivan, and a last minute balloon and chocolate strawberries from Fermin) Well Its almost 11 which means Ill have about 3.5 hours of sleep so Farewell My only reader Frankie!
(It does feel like I only have one reader but its cool. I like writing this way, feels almost therapeutic and nice to write my problems, concerns, happiness in a letter and posting it in the web and letting it go)

Movies and Kumas!
So I finally went out of my house! I went with my friend Ivan to see Sanctum and went to this bar/burger place called Kumas! too good! I just couldnt finish the other half of my burger. :(
Movie Review:
James Cameron does an amazing job at capturing human fear and being surrounded and encased in elements that we are not meant to be in. I for one and scared shitless of water diving that deep and one of the key things about the movie is that its the main characters panic that led them to situations that led to their demise. The movie was a father and son relationship thats rocky and end the son gets to really know his father and realizes that he loves his father. Lots of scenes that make the easily emotional people tear up ( theres one scene with the father and son that pushed me over my high horse of holding my emotions in and I choked :'( thankfully I had Ivan next to me soo his tough shoulder helped :P lol.
He took me to this cool bar on California and Belmont called Kumas, the whole bar has a laid back feel and burgers on pretzal bread thats Delish! I recommend that place too! I told Ivan next movie should be a happy movie bc this night turned out just depressing with the movie and ppl dieing and blehhh </3

Churros and Valentine's Day
New episode of House tonight!! Im soooooo excited, apparently Cuddy's mom comes back along with Cuddy's Sister!!??! o.O' who knew. lol. I always loved House <3 The clip below is the Superbowl commercial clip.. *btw who won..(like I care) lololol
Valentine's Day is this Monday....andddd I can honestly say Im not bitter. :) I've always like Valentines day, Last year I got Two flower arrangements and cute little Phineas and Ferb valentines cards. lol it was cute. This year I plan on taking heart shaped cupcakes to work :) Ill make them on friday and take them Saturday since Im off the day of. So lately..
I've had this new obsession that's been going on for a while now..(actually since I been single again) and I must say. its safe to say I fell in love..
I just finished seeing 2012 and had to wipe my tears away.. omg aside from the fact that the movie is unrealistic (so they say) I enjoyed it..:) Up next on my list of readily available J.C movies on instant play netflix is Being John Malkovich. I havent seen it but have heard good things.. :) (I recommend all his movies!!)
1408 is DEFINITELY my fave one, I haven't seen Hot tub Time Machine.Has anyone seen movie!?? What did you think?! I have a goodlist of John Cusack movies to keep me awake this weekend. :D

Sleep time?!
Finally! A long day done. Today was the most stressful day of the week. (lol big deal right?)
As I am writing this my mom is getting ready to go and Im finishing up some last thoughts and uploading the pic I promised of the airport! ( I got many praises for coming in from my team (team 27!) lol ^.^ thank you thank you)
However next time I prolly will call off. lol I don't believe I'll get much sleep tonight because I'll be thinking about credits and debits and gross margins and income from operations and all the financial statements! (pheww) but I think Im in good shape my midterm is tomorrow at 2 so wish me luck!
*Side note! So here's a neat tip for those who study and what not, after you study sleep with your book and notes or whatever your studying and sleep with it under your pillow! I've been doing that a while and I kinda believe that after you study and stuff you get good vibes from everything you did. :) Im not so sure if it scientifically work but I do a lot of weird stuff. (=
Or just get this:
I've heard lots of good reviews on it from fellow students and stuff.
Ok well that's it for this bloggy blog. I hope you have a good night! Don't stay up too late! And don't forget that Breakfast is really important!

Snow day 3=Bigfoot and the 2 Hour Deadline
So yesterday was pretty chill!I manage to get to work despite the snow (all thanks to my pops)and it was amazing! The airport was empty!(I'll Post a picture later!)
All of terminal 3 was shut down except for one checkpoint and It was pretty much a nothing to do day but answer phonecalls from the 200something Tso's who called off(for management at least) When i got home later that day I napped for about 2 hours and received an unexpected call. (it was a semi good talk, haven't had "good" talk with this person in like months) Dunno if it means something but it's something. Yesterdays highlight however must be when i was watching a special on Bigfoot and how it might be an Indian savage tradition of some indigenous men who must earn there passage by becoming isolated men of the Forrest. (thats just one theory, there's also the Scunk Ape theory for the sightenings in Florida.. I can go on and on if you do have interest just google it or ask me!)
The deadline:
I am on my way home trying to make it home in an hour so I can do/attempt to do an accounting quiz my prof. Assigned for online submission today at 1! The downside of the snow days must be that while classes did get canceled our accounting midterm was not moved so with missing two lecture days we must do our best with some online work quizzes our prof. Sent. He said he has faith we have the knowledge to do good. Let's hope that one person who does is right! So seeing That I am blogging this from my phone, Ill end this here to try to respond to brandon who has been feeling I have been avoiding him. (I haven't by the way.. It's just how I am)

Ps this is the show I was watching I highly recommend it for those who love A&E and the History Channel! it's not just mumbo-jumbo myth hoopla! <3 its pretty legit interesting theorys to cuddle up to on the couch.

Snow day=lazy day.
Snow day! So it's a semi wonderful day in Chicago! Extra day to get your homework done yet... The inevitable snow! My whole family had snow days too, mom, dad, and my sisters! I have no school but I do have work tomorrow! (the airport never closes)
On another none snow issue! I cooked today, I made seared beef round cuts (yummmmyy) going to accompany that with salsa and a salad!
Speaking of food! I was watching a movie on my wonderful Netflix; I was watching Julie &Julia. A wonderful story about my second love (aside from history) Food!! Very briefly it's about a turning 30 year old cubicle worker who decides to start a blog and cook every recipe in Julia Child's 1st cookbook. I for one enjoyed this book for the rich story and food! Make sure to stay warm everyone! Try not to go out if it is not necessary, bundle up! (and if your like me and have to work) Go to bed early so you can give yourself time in the morning! You don't know what you'll expect out there!
